Mini-Nars are small educational sessions offered in the spring and summer in various parts
of our membership area. They are designed mainly for non-managerial staff who often are not able
to attend the bigger national or regional meetings. The locations are selected to make sure that (most) everybody
can attend these sessions with just a one-day trip and registration cost is kept to a minimum to allow all stores to
send as many of their employees as possible without putting their budget in jeopardy. Networking with peers tends
to be as valuable as the actual topics presented. While these mini-nars are geared towards our lower-level staff,
many managers have found these events useful, too.
